Land’s End

Happy Friday! Today, I’m introducing one of the San Francisco gems – Land’s End. This trail is on the tip of the San Francisco bay. It’s an easy hike for people of all ages (by easy, I meant I wore a pair of flats in the last visit.) with a gorgeous view of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Last October, I had the opportunity to hike through Land’s End for a couple of hours. Mind you, we kept on stopping to take photos. The entire trail is about 3.4 miles (5.5 km) long, but you choose how far along you want to go.

The weather is windy, as San Francisco is most of the times, but the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. It really is a small paradise with beautiful nature and ocean in sight.

This spot, with the sunlight shining through the trees, took my breath away. It was refreshing, and it reminded me to make more efforts on getting out to the nature more often.

Hope you all have a good weekend. For you nature lovers or hikers, where are you going this weekend?

I took the off-shoot trail trying to find the labyrinth made of rocks.. (still have not found it!) but instead was greeted with gorgeous nature patches.. bluejays.. and there’s a mini rock beach! though! careful for the homeless encounters… (me and my friends got so spooked when we heard a mysterious “BOOO!” among the trees.. we ran.)
